We photographed Madeline’s senior session at Wild Daisy Farm in May, right as the fields were beginning to fill in with summer color. The location gave us a little bit of everything: rows of sunflowers, patches of wildflowers, tall grass, open fields, and enough room to let the session breathe instead of feeling overly structured.

We started with the softer side of the farm—long floral dresses, quiet portraits, and natural expressions. Nothing too complicated. Just good light, a little direction, and time to let the photographs feel comfortable: A soft expression in the sunflower field, a portrait leaning against the fence, a Bible held naturally as part of the look, rather than treated like a prop that needed to be explained. Those details helped the session feel personal without making it feel staged.

As the evening went on, we added more movement. Walking through the flowers, turning in the open field, and eventually running down the path with the dress moving behind her.

Madeline brought a soft confidence to the session. There were plenty of smiles, but we also made space for the more natural, thoughtful images; the ones that feel less like a pose and more like a real moment. That balance is usually where the best photographs happen. The final gallery feels bright, relaxed, and personal to her. It has enough variety to tell a more complete story of this moment in her life. And that is always the goal: to create a session that fits the person in front of the camera.
