Ultimately you do. You will be guided through the selection process. We will look for the strongest expression, posture, connection, and overall fit for how you plan to use the photographs. After narrowing down the images, we deliver a gallery for your final decision, before we move forward with retouching.

Who chooses the final images?

What should I wear for my headshot?

Before your shoot day, you will receive a detailed wardrobe guide to help plan your outfit(s). We always recommend you choose clothing that fits well, feels like you, and makes sense for how the image will be used. Solid colors, clean lines, and simple layers usually photograph best.

Will my photos be retouched?

For all singular headshots and personal branding sessions, all final deliverable images receive professional retouching that keeps you looking polished, but natural. With 15 years of commercial retouching experience, you can trust that your images will reflect the highest commercial standard. For teams and large groups, retouching is a negotiated add on due to the volume of images delivered.

Team sessions are planned around consistency, efficiency, and minimal disruption to the workday. We can plan to shoot at your office or bring a portable studio setup to your location. We will establish the lighting, background, crop, and visual standard in advance so the final portraits feel cohesive. We often develop standards the images of future hires.

What if we need headshots for an entire team?

We don’t expected you to know how to pose or perform for the camera. Our job is to guide you through posture, expression, angles, and small adjustments throughout the session so you never have to wonder what to do. The goal is to make you look confident, natural, and like yourself on your best day.
